S.W.I.N.G. (Skillful Women Inspiring New Golfers) is a new golfer mentoring program available to all EWGA members and supported by EWGA partner - bette & court

S.W.I.N.G. teams experienced golfers with newer golfers to help them feel comfortable on the golf course.  S.W.I.N.G. is what EWGA is all about - helping women enter the game of golf in a fun, supportive and welcoming environment!

Who is a Mentor?

A mentor is an experienced, but not necessarily good golfer who guides a new golfer on pace of play, basic rules and proper etiquitte on and off the golf course.  If the new golfer is also a new member, a mentor may guide the new member on how to participate in EWGA. 

Who is a Mentee?

A mentee is someone making the transition from instruction to playing on a golf course. A mentee is paired with a mentor to guide them around the golf course safely and answer questions about etiquette, basic rules and the other nuances of the game in order to build confidence and comfort in the golf course setting.

S.W.I.N.G. runs from January 1 - December 31. In addition, ALL U.S. EWGA Chapters will be listed as participants in the program.

S.W.I.N.G. is a win-win for both mentors and mentees. Every EWGA member who joins as a mentor or mentee will receive a 25% discount for one year on all regularly priced bette&court products from affiliate ForeSport.com.  Mentors receive a unique mentor pin with the official mentor program logo and a S.W.I.N.G. cap.

There's more... one mentor from each EWGA membership region will be chosen from a chance drawing to win a $200 shopping spree from bette & court, and four mentees will be selected at random to receive a prize from a top EWGA sponsor. These awards are presented at the EWGA Annual Conference in February 2009.
