2000 Opportunities with EWGA coast to coast in July

(Palm Beach Gardens, FL, July 7, 2015) Interested in getting into playing golf, but don’t know how to get started? This month, EWGA is hosting more than 2000 events, clinics and networking activities coast to coast during the Association’s “Mentoring Month”.

Throughout its 24 year history, EWGA has been providing a destination for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and for fun. Offering a variety of player development programs to dispel the intimidation factor involved in learning the ins and outs of the game has been the cornerstone of the organization’s outreach initiatives.

“It’s about establishing a fun, comfortable experience with someone willing to show you the way in helping you get ready to play,” says EWGA’s CEO Pam Swensen. “Mentoring new golfers is a great way to eliminate the anxiety and first tee jitters.”

EWGA has introduced over 100,000 women to the game since beginning nearly 25 years ago and knows what it takes to build confidence and success in playing this sport. EWGA Chapters offer a variety of activities monthly to help women develop golf skills, gain experience playing a variety of courses and build a network of professional connections and friendships.

“When you take the step to test the golf waters, you’ll have a network of fairway friends supporting you along the way through EWGA,” adds Swensen. “When you are comfortable talking about and playing this game, you then have the ability to use it as a relationship building tool that enables you to stand out in a professional setting which is how EWGA got started!”
