LPGA Stars Help Promote EWGA

Fresh off the heels of a thrilling Solheim Cup - one in which EWGA was well represented among volunteers and fans - a stable of LPGA superstars lent their support for the EWGA.

2-time major winner, Brittany Liniciome, encouraged those who fell in love with the game over the past week to seek out opportunities to continue their golf journey. As the largest women amateur golf organization, the EWGA has more than 12,000 members in nearly 110 chapters with more than 7,500 local and national events annually.

Not to be outdone, former world #1 and five-time major champion, Yani Tseng also championed the benefits of joining the organization. Tseng was the youngest player, male or female, to win five majors. She spent more than 100 weeks as the best female golfer in the world.

This incredible support has been enabled by increasing interest in the organization following the appointment of Jane Geddes, two-time major champion and eleven-time LPGA Tour winner, as CEO and Meaghan Francella, a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour, as Director of Golf.
