A Few Speaker Highlights:
- Lead, Laugh or Get Out of the Way - The Lazy Leader's Guide to Outrageous Results, Presented by Cynthia D'Amour. If you are like many volunteer leaders, you may struggle with getting others involved. Instead of leading a vibrant team, you find yourself continuing to add more to your plate. It doesn't have to be that way! The secret to creating an abundance of happy volunteers is committing to the way of the Lazy Leader. Cynthia D'Amour, MBA, Leadership Strategist and author of The Lazy Leader's Guide to Outrageous Results will teach you how to get more work done through the involvement of others.
- Let Me See Your Body Talk: Understanding the Importance of Nonverbal Communication, Presented by Jan Hargrave. Bring your body, your curiosity, your sense of humor and learn what your body - and the body of others - is communicating to the world. It's a scientific fact that a person's body gestures give away their true intentions. Actually, over 90% of all face-to-face communication is nonverbal; thus, the silent messages of the body often reveal more than the spoken word in conveying true feelings and attitudes. Clear, practical and fun, this presentation offers a wealth of detailed information concerning the "hidden messages" of the people around you as well as yourself and gives you the advantages you need to make in-depth character assessments during negotiations, as well as an increased ability to dorm more successful, rewarding relationships with family and friends. Jan proves with her contagious warmth, wit, and humor that there is a method, and a style, to success.
- Entertainment by Zandra Bell (aka Shirley Best). Writer and corporate motivational humorist, Zandra Bell is well known on the North American conference scene for creating original, intelligent hilarity to inspire and enhance human potential. She is the driving force behind the innovative "infotainment" company, "At Wit's End," specializing in customized motivational presentations. Zandra travels internationally delivering corporate messages, visions and philosophy in her own unique comedic professional style. She is also the author of the comedy book, "I'm Listing - Musings from a Modern Middle Aged Wild Wise Woman."
